My Story
In 2008 I swapped Galway rain for London drizzle to become a post-production runner on Dancing on Ice. Unlike a lot of people, I hadn’t been to uni, and honestly had no idea what a runner even did, but five minutes in, I was hooked.
I worked my way through just about every entry-level job TV had to offer: post runner, studio runner, production secretary (briefly—turns out spreadsheets and schedules are not my forte). Luckily, my PM noticed I was far more excited by people and stories than paperwork and let me loose as a researcher.
That’s when I found my real love: cameras.
I’ve been obsessed with them since I got my first one for Christmas at 12, and I’ve basically spent my adult life as the family event photographer and finding any excuse to get one into my hands.
In 2015 I landed my first Producer credit, and I’ve spent the last decade travelling the world, filming fascinating people, and pinching myself that this is actually my job.
I don’t know where TV will be in twenty years—but if there’s a camera and a story to chase, you’ll probably find me right behind it.
